Abstract
A clear understanding of aluminium alloy microstructure is essential for engineers concerned with rural electrification. Comparison with published results is used to establish the accuracy of the transfer matrix analysis adopted here. The results indicate that aluminium alloy microstructure can be improved by nearly 33% relative to conventional practice. The proposed procedure is expected to find ready application in engineering practice.
