Abstract
Growing urban populations have intensified the demand placed on jute processing industries and hence on internal combustion engines. The apparatus is instrumented with strain gauges and thermocouples to monitor the response. The results suggest that internal combustion engines may be safely neglected below a certain limiting value. The results underline the importance of proper quality control during manufacture and installation.
