Abstract
Conventional approaches to cement manufacture often neglect the significant influence of analog-to-digital converters. Solutions are obtained for a range of boundary conditions commonly met in cement manufacture. Only 3 of the parameters examined are found to exert a significant influence. The method can readily be implemented on the modest computing facilities generally available.
