Abstract

The interaction between solar photovoltaic cells and its operating environment is a matter of considerable engineering interest. The problem is formulated in dimensionless form and solved using numerical integration. An increase of 16% in efficiency is shown to be possible through the modifications proposed here. The recommendations arising from this work can be applied with little additional expenditure.
