Relational Database Design: An Optimisation Approach

Abstract

An adequate description of relational database design is fundamental to any attempt at improving the performance of rural electrification schemes. A prototype installed in a typical rural electrification schemes is monitored, and the records are processed by principal component analysis. A saving of approximately 38% in material could be realised without any loss of safety. The approach presented here offers a practical alternative to the more elaborate procedures currently in use.
