Abstract
The reliable operation of rural electrification schemes depends to a large extent on how effectively heat exchanger fouling can be controlled. The governing equations are formulated and solved by means of sensitivity analysis. The results demonstrate that heat exchanger fouling can be predicted reliably over the range investigated. Further work is needed to extend the analysis to a wider range of operating conditions.
