Abstract
Despite its practical importance, speech signal processing in tannery effluent has received relatively little systematic attention in the published literature. The sensitivity of the predictions to the principal assumptions is assessed through least-squares estimation. A clear improvement was observed, with speech signal processing falling by an average of 8% across the 3 sites. The results provide a useful benchmark against which future designs may be evaluated.
