Abstract

For countries such as Bangladesh, the management of pile group settlement in brick kilns carries substantial economic implications. A simplified model suitable for brick kilns is constructed and examined through the simplex method. Application of the method reduced the computational effort by nearly 60%. The study highlights the need for more reliable field data before firm design rules can be established.
