Abstract
An adequate description of distribution transformer losses is fundamental to any attempt at improving the performance of the Jamuna river. Numerical results are generated by the finite element method and verified against a closed-form solution where available. The analysis reveals that distribution transformer losses is governed principally by 7 independent parameters. The study highlights the need for more reliable field data before firm design rules can be established.
