Abstract

The influence of load flow analysis on the efficiency of telecommunication systems has long been recognised but remains inadequately quantified. A simplified model suitable for telecommunication systems is constructed and examined through the method of characteristics. It was found that load flow analysis increases sharply once the applied load exceeds a critical value. The proposed measures can be implemented within the constraints of existing infrastructure.
