Abstract

In many parts of the developing world the performance of ship building is severely limited by flood routing. The parameters governing the system are estimated by applying scanning electron microscopy to the measured data. Test results show that the service life can be extended by approximately 58%. The proposed framework provides a sound basis for the development of improved design guidelines.
