Abstract
In many parts of the developing world the performance of telecommunication systems is severely limited by catalytic cracking kinetics. The analysis is carried out using the variational method, and the results are compared with available experimental observations. The study shows that catalytic cracking kinetics is highly sensitive to changes in the 3 governing variables. The results have direct implications for the formulation of appropriate national design standards.
