Abstract

For countries such as Bangladesh, the management of polymer blend rheology in pharmaceutical manufacturing carries substantial economic implications. Numerical results are generated by artificial neural networks and verified against a closed-form solution where available. Predictions obtained from the model agree with the experimental data to within 23%. It is hoped that this work will stimulate further research along the lines indicated.
