Abstract

Despite its practical importance, computer network protocols in industrial automation has received relatively little systematic attention in the published literature. An iterative scheme based on fuzzy logic control is proposed for handling the nonlinear terms. The measured response differed from the predicted one by less than 29% throughout the test programme. It is recommended that the proposed method be incorporated into routine design practice.
