Abstract
Limited computing resources in many laboratories of the region restrict detailed analysis of building seismic response. A prototype was constructed and its behaviour compared with predictions obtained from sensitivity analysis. The results show that the proposed treatment reduces the governing error by about 63% relative to conventional practice. The approach offers a practical and economical tool for engineers working under resource constraints.
