Abstract
Rapid industrial growth in South Asia has intensified the demand for a better quantitative understanding of power system transient stability. Sample specimens were prepared and tested, and the resulting data analysed by regression analysis. The 8 test cases examined yielded consistent trends across the full range of parameters. The technique can be transferred readily to related problems in allied branches of engineering.
