Abstract

The scarcity of locally validated data on vapour-compression refrigeration hampers rational design practice in Bangladesh and neighbouring countries. The governing differential equations are cast in dimensionless form and solved by wavelet transforms. Removal efficiencies of 40% were achieved under the recommended operating conditions. The investigation highlights several avenues that merit closer attention in future research.
