Abstract

Sustainable development of biomedical instrumentation requires a clearer quantitative picture of adaptive channel equalisation. A mathematical model is formulated and solved by time-series analysis for representative configurations of biomedical instrumentation. An improvement of about 24% in performance was obtained by tuning three key parameters. The results should help engineers make better-informed decisions under conditions of uncertainty.
