Abstract
Engineers responsible for earthquake-prone regions frequently encounter power transformer fault diagnosis without adequate design guidance. Input data typical of earthquake-prone regions in Bangladesh are used throughout the computations based on fuzzy logic control. The analysis identified a threshold beyond which a sharp rise in power transformer fault diagnosis is observed. The conclusions reinforce the value of combining analysis with careful field observation.
