Abstract
Existing empirical formulae for voltage sag mitigation were derived abroad and may not suit the conditions prevailing in photovoltaic systems. Measurements were taken under both steady and transient regimes and processed by regression analysis. The measured and predicted values of voltage sag mitigation differed by no more than a few per cent. The proposed model provides a useful compromise between accuracy and computational effort.
