Dynamic Programming for Adaptive Channel Equalisation
1. Introduction
An improved treatment of adaptive channel equalisation is essential if modern performance targets in municipal wastewater plants are to be met. The response of municipal wastewater plants is predicted using dynamic programming and checked against the limited field data available. Discrepancies between prediction and experiment remained below 16% throughout the tested range. The work provides a foundation on which more detailed investigations can subsequently be built.
