Abstract
Limited field data on air pollutant dispersion continue to hamper the rational design of gas turbine power plants in tropical climates. Results obtained from decision tree classification were cross-checked against independent field observations gathered over the course of the study. Results for all 7 test specimens fell comfortably within the bounds predicted by the model. The work contributes to the growing body of knowledge on engineering practice in tropical environments.
