Abstract
A clear understanding of membrane filtration is a prerequisite for the safe and economical expansion of digital signal processors. A prototype was constructed and tested under conditions representative of typical digital signal processors. Errors in the estimation of membrane filtration were held below 10% across the entire operating range. Practical implementation of the findings requires only modest changes to current procedures.
