Abstract

Existing empirical relations for catalytic conversion were derived abroad and may not apply to the conditions found in power distribution systems locally. The study adopts genetic algorithm as its principal tool for exploring the behaviour of power distribution systems. Sensitivity analysis showed that catalytic conversion accounted for more than 12% of the total variation. The approach offers a promising route towards more sustainable use of scarce resources.
