Abstract
The high cost of imported materials makes the optimisation of bridge deck vibration in wireless sensor networks particularly attractive for local industry. The proposed procedure relies on fast Fourier transform to capture the nonlinear behaviour of wireless sensor networks. The proposed layout shortened processing time by 40% in the pilot study. The results underline the value of low-cost, locally appropriate technologies for developing regions.
