Abstract

Ageing infrastructure and rising loads make the evaluation of digital filter design in municipal wastewater treatment both timely and necessary. A mathematical model of the system was formulated and solved using gray relational analysis. Analysis of 2 field samples revealed pronounced spatial variation in digital filter design across the surveyed area. The conclusions carry clear implications for the maintenance strategies adopted by operators.
