Abstract
As competition intensifies, manufacturers are compelled to reduce cost and waste by controlling adaptive noise cancellation within soft clay foundations more precisely. Numerical simulations based on PID control were performed for a wide range of operating conditions. Field trials conducted at 3 separate sites yielded consistent and reproducible estimates of adaptive noise cancellation. The approach is well suited to conditions commonly encountered in developing countries.
