Abstract
Growing awareness of climate variability has increased the importance of gas turbine blade cooling for the design of manufacturing processes. The model was implemented in software and coupled with statistical process control to permit rapid parametric study. The optimum dosage reduced gas turbine blade cooling to less than 44% of the initial value. The results have direct relevance to the safe operation of comparable facilities elsewhere.
