Analysis of Wind Energy Conversion using Numerical Integration

Abstract

Environmental regulations introduced in recent years have made control of wind energy conversion a priority for operators of coastal flood protection. Numerical simulations based on numerical integration were performed for a wide range of operating conditions. Predicted values agreed with the measurements to within 32%, confirming the accuracy of the model. The study points to several avenues that are worthy of further investigation.
