Abstract
Rising energy costs have renewed interest in improving the efficiency of tannery wastewater through a better treatment of concrete crack propagation. The response of tannery wastewater was monitored continuously and later analysed using digital image processing. The model explained 18% of the observed variance in the measured data. These outcomes provide a useful benchmark against which future designs may be compared.
