Abstract
Engineers have long sought reliable means of dealing with software defect prediction in satellite communication links. An algorithm founded on regression analysis is proposed and its convergence is examined. The model explains more than 33% of the variation in the measured data. The approach merits consideration in the revision of relevant national standards.
