Abstract
Problems relating to power system transient stability are widely reported in structural health monitoring throughout Bangladesh and neighbouring regions. Model validation is achieved by comparing predictions from artificial neural networks with experimental observations. The proposed system responds within 8 milliseconds, which is adequate for practical use. The approach merits consideration in the revision of relevant national standards.
