Abstract
Existing design codes offer limited guidance on RFID tag localisation for coastal wind farms in tropical climates. The technique is verified by applying dynamic programming to a set of benchmark problems. Failure occurs at a load 9 percent higher than that predicted by existing methods. The method appears well suited to conditions commonly encountered in developing countries.
