Abstract
A proper treatment of nonlinear differential equation solutions can substantially reduce the cost and improve the reliability of real-time operating systems. A finite set of scenarios representative of real-time operating systems is examined using the finite difference method. Overall performance improves by 25% when the proposed scheme is adopted. The method appears well suited to conditions commonly encountered in developing countries.
