Abstract

Safety considerations in the Jamuna river basin require that harmonic distortion in distribution networks be predicted with reasonable accuracy. The design procedure incorporates regression analysis to handle uncertainty in the input data. The proposed system responds within 3 milliseconds, which is adequate for practical use. The approach merits consideration in the revision of relevant national standards.
