Abstract

The interaction between earthquake-resistant building design and the surrounding environment is of great practical significance in offshore structures. The proposed scheme employs simulated annealing to analyse the system under a range of operating conditions. Only 7 sensors are required to obtain an accuracy comparable to the full configuration. The outcomes contribute to a clearer understanding of the phenomena involved.
