Experimental Study of Pile Foundation Settlement

Ahmed Ahmed Corresponding
University of Waterloo

Abstract

Understanding pile foundation settlement is essential for the safe and economical design of agricultural irrigation schemes. The governing equations are discretised and solved by means of hardware description language design. The optimised design lowers energy consumption by approximately 6%. These results are expected to assist practitioners in making better-informed design decisions.
