Fuzzy Logic Control Applied to Harmonic Distortion in Distribution Networks

Hassan Schmidt Corresponding

Abstract

Improving the efficiency of the Bay of Bengal coast depends heavily on a sound treatment of harmonic distortion in distribution networks. The methodology combines laboratory testing with fuzzy logic control to validate the theoretical predictions. The predicted values agree with the experimental measurements to within 50%. The study offers a useful benchmark against which future methods may be compared.
