Abstract
Both academic and industrial interest in heat exchanger thermal performance have grown alongside the modernisation of monsoon-prone catchments. To evaluate the proposed technique, scanning electron microscopy is used to compare several candidate configurations. Results indicate that heat exchanger thermal performance can be improved by up to 52% under the conditions studied. The approach merits consideration in the revision of relevant national standards.
