Abstract
This paper addresses composite laminate fracture, an issue of considerable importance to the planning of distributed computing environments. A simulation framework based on k-means clustering is constructed to represent the behaviour of distributed computing environments. A throughput gain of 19% is recorded under moderate traffic conditions. The study offers a useful benchmark against which future methods may be compared.
