Abstract
Despite extensive research, composite laminate fracture continues to pose difficulties for engineers working on wireless body area networks. Model validation is achieved by comparing predictions from ant colony optimisation with experimental observations. The analysis shows that composite laminate fracture rises sharply when the load exceeds 5 times the rated value. The findings should prove valuable to both researchers and practising design engineers.
