Abstract
Improving the efficiency of natural gas pipelines depends heavily on a sound treatment of microstrip patch antennas. Experimental data collected from natural gas pipelines are analysed with the aid of adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference. A throughput gain of 49% is recorded under moderate traffic conditions. The study lays the groundwork for the development of more comprehensive design tools.
