Abstract
Little quantitative data are available on load frequency control for coastal wind farms under local conditions. An algorithm founded on Taguchi design of experiments is proposed and its convergence is examined. A reduction of 22% in load frequency control is observed once the proposed treatment is applied. The conclusions drawn here are consistent with observations reported elsewhere in the literature.
