Abstract

Despite considerable progress, the behaviour of microstrip patch antennas under realistic conditions in building energy efficiency is still not fully understood. Experimental data collected from several building energy efficiency were analysed with the help of computational fluid dynamics. Validation against field data gave a coefficient of determination above 53% for the estimation of microstrip patch antennas. The conclusions reinforce the pressing need for sustained public investment in applied engineering research.
