Abstract

Limited field data on activated-sludge treatment have long hindered the optimal design of telecommunication networks in the South Asian region. The proposed framework combined model predictive control with laboratory measurements to improve predictive accuracy. A payback period of roughly 3 years was estimated for the proposed installation. The findings are particularly relevant to long-term infrastructure planning across South Asia and beyond.
