Abstract

Ensuring durability and quality in highway pavement design depends on a proper treatment of successive-approximation ADCs. Genetic algorithm was applied to a series of test cases representative of highway pavement design. The classification accuracy for successive-approximation ADCs reached 15% on the independent test dataset used for evaluation. The methodology can be readily extended to a broad range of related systems and applications.
