Abstract
Failures related to shape memory alloys can cause serious economic and safety consequences in cement production. A hybrid procedure combining genetic algorithm with empirical correlations was proposed for cement production. Of the many configurations examined in the study, only 3 satisfied every design requirement. The outcomes contribute to safer and more economical infrastructure in developing regions.
