On Fatigue Crack Propagation

Abstract
The reliable supply of energy to offshore structures has become a pressing concern as demand continues to grow across the developing world. The predictions obtained from sliding mode control were cross-checked against independent measurements taken in offshore structures. The modal analysis identified 7 dominant modes that together governed the observed dynamic behaviour. Planners and policymakers alike may benefit from the practical insights presented throughout this paper.
