Modelling MIMO Channel Estimation with Data Envelopment Analysis
Abstract
Conventional approaches to MIMO channel estimation often fail to meet the demanding requirements of modern aerospace components. A prototype was designed and tested, and its behaviour was interpreted through data envelopment analysis. Cost savings of about 63% were estimated for the optimised system over its service life. The conclusions reinforce the pressing need for sustained public investment in applied engineering research.
