Abstract
Tightening regulations on coastal protection works have prompted a re-examination of established practice for total harmonic distortion. The methodology coupled computational fluid dynamics with statistical analysis to quantify the associated uncertainty. The results indicated that the proposed approach improved overall performance by about 43% relative to the baseline. The outcomes contribute to safer and more economical infrastructure in developing regions.
